We know that there are many of these packs out there but this is not a normal 8mm texture package. Several test rolls and a lot of experiments have brought us to a point where we can say with pleasure: This one is different! Our Super-8 package is overloaded with everything you need to make your projects look like a 50s home movie or a 90s snuff film.

The package includes several 8mm Film Grains scanned from all available Kodak Stocks, burns, LUTs, sprocket holes, prebuilt premiere projects and never before seen round film gates shot on French vintage equipment. All scanned in 4K and delivered as high resolution ProRes422 files.

A collection of film camera viewfinder ground glasses inspired by real S35 and S16 cameras. Includes BONUS 8mm film textures pulled from real Kodak film stock.

With this overlay package we want to convey the feeling of authentic film camera viewfinders with a pinch of retro-futurism. Therefore we oriented ourselves strongly on the old 16mm and 35mm viewfinders from Arri, Aaton and B&H. We digitally recreated scans of real ground glass screens and now make them available to you to spice up your project.

The overlays come in 4K 16x9 and 2.35x1 resolution and can easily be downscaled to HD. They were created as .png files and can be imported into any editing program of your choice supporting blend modes.

Let us punch this in your face: Punch Holes! Originally they were used to mark the end or the beginning of an analog film roll. Now we made them fancy overlays that immediately give your footage an analog and organic feel. We love this feel!

That's why we sat down with several film rolls and a scanner and punched and scanned them to death. Just use them as fancy prescanned overlays. But we didn't stop there, we built some sick and artsy transitions for easy and simple use in your projects.
